Robert Traynham, Santorum's top aide, comes out gay

The senior spokesman for majorly homophobic Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum confirmed this weekend that he is gay. Robert Traynham, Director of Communications, said that he was an "out gay man who completely supports the senator," which actually makes him one truly self-loathing individual. Santorum has repeatedly spoken out against gay rights of any kind and has been a leader in placing a ban on same-sex marriage nationally. Responding to the news on Traynham Santorum said
