California: An appellate court in San Diego ruled that lesbian Guadalupe Benitez\\\’s doctors could defend their action of refusing articificial insemination by citing a religious belief. Benitez\\\’s attorney, Lambda Legal\\\’s Jennifer Pizer, said that decision opened the door for all types of discrimination based on religious beliefs.
